ADHD support groups

Support groups, as you are aware, can be a vital part of your recovery. The adult-specific ADD/ADHD resources listed below may be particularly useful:

CHADD is a non-profit organization that provides ADHD/ADD information and resources, including treatment choices, as well as in-person and adult online support forums. Monday through Friday, 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. EST, you can call their information line at (800) 233-4050.

The Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA) provides information and resources for adults with ADD, including support groups, workshops, and a "Ambassadors" program that allows ADD individuals to talk with others who have the disorder. The ADDA's phone number is (800) 939-1019.

I'm working on it: Focus Timer is an app for children and adults who have trouble staying concentrated on a task, such as those with ADD, ADHD, or Asperger's Syndrome, as well as anyone who has trouble staying focused. This app is available for Android users for free.

Brain Focus is a program that helps you manage your time. Users can pause and restart sessions, turn off WI-FI and sound during work sessions, extend work sessions if necessary, and skip a break at the end of a session. This app is available for Android users for free.

Evernote is a virtual organizer that allows users to create to-do lists, set reminders, scan handwritten notes, photograph objects to follow up on, and store websites and videos. Evernote is available for free on both Apple and Android devices.
